About Me
Hi, I’m Lillian Beavers-Jacobson. I’m a 22-year-old photographer based in Ann Arbor, where I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan. While my academic path is centered around healing, advocacy, and human connection, photography has always been the quiet, steady companion in the background—something I’ve loved deeply since I was 13.
I started taking photos to hold onto the little things: the way light spills across a room, an unspoken moment between friends, the feeling of stillness in chaos. Over time, photography became more than a hobby—it became how I process the world, how I connect to people, and how I remember who I am.
I’m drawn to natural light, raw texture, and honest emotion. Whether I’m photographing a fleeting glance, an open landscape, or a candid laugh, I’m always chasing moments that feel real. My camera helps me slow down, pay attention, and turn the ordinary into something worth remembering.
This portfolio is a collection of those pieces—snapshots of my life, and maybe even reflections of yours. Thanks for stopping by.
